Committee should be set up under the chairmanship of Retired supreme court Judge to find out the true cause of Vaccination Deaths .DASE urges the central government.

Regarding this DASE General secretary Dr.G.R.Ravindranath has issued the following press statement.

It is told the deaths of 4 children at Thiruvallur district last month on 23 rd was due to the diluent . The cause for the deaths should be revealed to the people to wipe out unnecessary doubts and fear about vaccines .It is very sad that the whole issue has been politicized. State and central health ministries are finding faults against each other.It is diverting the problem.To find out the real cause for the deaths a committee should be set up under the chairmanship of a retired supreme court judge and retired public health expert doctors should be included in the committee.

Safer immunization. is very very important as such universal immunization. We should not loose valuable lives due to unsafe methods of vaccination. All precautions should be taken during immunization to avoid such incidents . Immunization should be done in the presence of a qualified doctor. In this regard the Tamilnadu govern ment has taken some appre ciable steps .Some organizations oppose this government’s new immuni zation method due to selfish reasons. DASE strongly condemns that.

DASE welcomes the central Health minister Dr.Anbumani Ramadass’s statement to reopen the vaccine producing three PUCs . DASE urges the center to provide high quality AD syringes for immunization.

It is regrettable that the central Health minister Dr. Anbumani Ramadass has decided to implement the compulsory service. It will be against the rural students, women, and social justice .If he tries to abolish more than 32 thousand doctors job opportunities in the name of compulsory service ,nation wide struggles will be organized .
