URGING THE CENTRAL GOVT TO PROTECT RESERVATION IN ALL INDIA PG ADMISSIONS AND DELHI AIIMS ADMISSIONS.

டில்லி எய்ம்ஸ் மருத்துவ நிறுவனத்திற்கான மாணவர் சேர்க்கை நுழை வுத் தேர்வில்  தாழ்த்தப்பட்ட மாணவர்களுக்கு குறைந்தபட்ச மதிப் பெண் ணை 50 விழுக்காடு  என  நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.இவை யனைத்தும்  சமூக நீதிக்கு எதிரான நடவடிக்கைகளாகும்.

இக் குறைபாடுகளை உடனடியாகக் களைந்து புதிதாக விண்ணப்பப் படிவங்களையும் மாணவர் சேர்க்கை தகவல் குறிப்பேட்டையும் வழங்க வேண்டுமென  என மத்திய மக்கள் நல்வாழ்வுத் துறையை  வலியுறுத்தி அனைத்திந்திய மாணவர் பெருமன்றத்துடன் இணைந்து சமூக சமத்துவத்திற்கான டாக்டர்கள் சங்கம் 30.9.08 செவ்வாய் மாலை 5.00 மணிக்கு சென்னை மெமோரியல் ஹால் அருகில்  ஆர்ப்பாட்டம் நடத்துகிறது.

Regarding this Dr.G.R.Ravindranath General secretary of Indian Doctors for Peace and Development Tamilnadu Chapter and R.Thirumalai AISF State secretary has jointly issued the following press statement.

Due to the ethinic problem prevaling in Srilanka for a very long time the Ta mil pepople of Srilanka are suffering very much .They are not having basic hu man rights and political rights.More than 2.5 lakh Tamil people have been killed due to genocide .Ethnic discrimination and sinhaleese chauvinism has led to blo od shed and innumerable losses to the common Tamil and Sinhala peop le.More than 3 lakh Tamil people are left as refugees in Vavunia in their own mother land without food, safe drinking water,shelter,clothes and medical aid and medici nes. The sufferings of the Tamil people cannot be expressed in wo rds.The Sinhaleese political parties are using Sinhaleese chauvinism for electoral and political gains. The Rajapaksa Government has unilaterally withdrawn from the ceasefire and has leashed out a war against the Tamil people.Instead of fin ding a peaceful po litical solution to the ethnic problem the Srilakan government has engaged in a full fledged war against Tamil.The Indian government is provi ding military, te chnical and other aids to the the Srilankan army .IDPD and AISF stongly conde mns the Srilankan and Indian governments attitudes towards the minority Tamil pepople of Srilanka .

இலங்கையில் நீண்டகாலமாக நிலவி வரும் இனப்பிரச்சனை இதுவரை தீர்க் கப்படாததால் இலங்கை தமிழர்கள் மிகவும் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள் ளனர்.அடிப் படை மனித உரிமைகளின்றியும்,அரசியல் உரிமைகளின்றியும் துன்புறுகின் றனர்.இலங்கை அரசு இனப் பிரச்சனைக்கு அமைதி வழியில் பேச்சுவார்த்தை மூலம் அரசியல் தீர்வு காண்பதற்குப் பதிலாக தமிழ் மக்கள் மீது ராணுவத் தாக்குதலை மூர்க்கத்தனமாக நடத்திவருகிறது .சர்வதேசச் சமூகத்தின் கருத்து களுக்கு எதிராக போர்நிறுத்தத்தை ஒருதலைப்பட்சமாக நிறுத்திவிட்டது.நார்வே தூதுக்குழுவின் தலைமையிலான பேச்சுவார்த்தை களையும் தன்னிச்சையாக முறித்துக்கொண்டு விட்டது.இலங்கை ராணுவத்தின் வான்,தரை,கடல் வழி தாக் குதல்களால் இலங்கை தமிழர்கள் சொல்லொன்னா துயரங்களை அடைந்து வருகின்றனர்.நாள்தோறும் உயிரிழப்புகள் ஏற்பட்டுவருகின்றன.சொந்த நாட்டி லேயே வவுனியாவில் 3 லட்சத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்ட தமிழர்கள் அகதிகளாக் கப்பட்டுள்ளனர் .உணவு,உடை,உறைவிடம்,பாதுகாப்பான குடிதண்ணீர்,மருந்து மற்றும் மருத்துவ வசதிகள் இன்றி இன்னலுருகின்றனர்.அப்பகுதியில் நிவார ணப்பணிகளை மேற்கொண்டு வந்த அய்க்கிய நாடுகள் சபையின் பல்வேறு அமைப்புகளும்,தொண்டு நிறுவனங்களும் வலுக்கட்டாயமாக இலங்கை அரசால் வெளியேற்றப்பட்டுள்ளன.இந்நிலையில் வெந்தப்புண்ணில் வேலைப் பாய்ச்சுவதைப் போல் இந்திய அரசு இலங்கை ராணுவத்திற்கு உதவிகளை வழங்கிவருவது வன்மையாகக் கண்டிக்கத்தக்கதாகும்.

Regarding this Dr.G.R.Ravindranath General secretary of Doctors Association for Social Equality has issued the following press statement.

• Services of the doctors who were working on contract basis and subsequently brought under time scale of pay should be regularized from the date of joining and they should be given eligibility to appear for the PG entrance examination under service quota in the coming academic year . 
• Services of the doctors who are working on temporary basis should be regularized by conducting special TNPSC examination and they should be allowed to appear for the PG entrance examination under service quota in the coming academic year.
• The Tamil Nadu govt doctors salary should be increased on par with the Karnataka doctors.
• Tamilnadu government should not appoint doctors through TNMSC on temporary basis.
• The central government should not abolish the job opportunity of young doctors in the name of implementing compulsory rural service.
• Reservation should be implemented in DNB courses.
  

Urging the state and central governments to implement the above demands a hunger struggle was organized in Chennai on behalf of Doctors Association for Social Equality on 14.9.08 nearer to Cheppaukkam Guest house from 10.00 AM to 4.30 PM .Dr.D.Aram sate president presided over the struggle.AITUC stae secretary S.S.Thiyagarajan delivered the opening address. Doctors T.Mohan,R.Sunder,Arulnambi,P.Durai spoke about the demands.Dr.G.R.Ravindranath general secretary DASE delivered the concluding address.More than 150 doctors participated in the struggle.

TIRUNELVELI: The Doctors’ Association for Social Equality (DASE) decided to observe fast in Chennai on September 14 to press their demands.

The Tirunelveli district general council meeting of DASE, which met here on Sunday with State president of the orgainsation Aram in the chair, said the services of government doctors, who were made permanent after serving on contract basis, should be regularised from the date of their appointment so that they could get admission to the postgraduate programmes.
