இலங்கைத் தமிழர்கள் மீதான இலங்கை ராணுவத் தாக்குதல்களை கண்டித்து டாக்டர்கள் சங்கம் சார்பில் கருத்தரங்கம். சென்னையில் நடைபெறுகிறது.

அனைத்துக் கட்சித் தலைவர்கள் பங்கேற்பு.

இது குறித்து சமாதானம் மற்றும் முன்னேற்றத்திற்கான இந்திய டாக்டர்கள் சங்கத்தின் பொதுச் செயலாளர் டாக்டர்.நி.ஸி .ரவீந்திரநாத் விடுத்துள்ள இதழ்ச் செய்தி.

இலங்கையில் நீண்டகாலமாக நிலவி வரும் இனப்பிரச்சனை இதுவரை தீர்க் கப்படாததால் இலங்கை தமிழர்கள் மிகவும் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள் ளனர்.அடிப் படை மனித உரிமைகளின்றியும்,அரசியல் உரிமைகளின்றியும் துன்புறுகின் றனர்.இலங்கை அரசு இனப் பிரச்சனைக்கு அமைதி வழியில் பேச்சுவார்த்தை மூலம் அரசியல் தீர்வு காண்பதற்குப் பதிலாக தமிழ் மக்கள் மீது ராணுவத் தாக்குதலை மூர்க்கத்தனமாக நடத்திவருகிறது .சர்வதேசச் சமூகத்தின் கருத்து களுக்கு எதிராக போர்நிறுத்தத்தை ஒருதலைப்பட்சமாக நிறுத்திவிட்டது.நார்வே தூதுக்குழுவின் தலைமையிலான பேச்சுவார்த்தை களையும் தன்னிச்சையாக முறித்துக்கொண்டு விட்டது.இலங்கை ராணுவத்தின் வான்,தரை,கடல் வழி தாக் குதல்களால் இலங்கை தமிழர்கள் சொல்லொன்னா துயரங்களை அடைந்து வருகின்றனர்.நாள்தோறும் உயிரிழப்புகள் ஏற்பட்டுவருகின்றன.சொந்த நாட்டி லேயே வவுனியாவில் 3 லட்சத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்ட தமிழர்கள் அகதிகளாக் கப்பட்டுள்ளனர் .உணவு,உடை,உறைவிடம்,பாதுகாப்பான குடிதண்ணீர்,மருந்து மற்றும் மருத்துவ வசதிகள் இன்றி இன்னலுருகின்றனர்.அப்பகுதியில் நிவார ணப்பணிகளை மேற்கொண்டு வந்த அய்க்கிய நாடுகள் சபையின் பல்வேறு அமைப்புகளும்,தொண்டு நிறுவனங்களும் வலுக்கட்டாயமாக இலங்கை அரசால் வெளியேற்றப்பட்டுள்ளன.இந்நிலையில் வெந்தப்புண்ணில் வேலைப் பாய்ச்சுவதைப் போல் இந்திய அரசு இலங்கை ராணுவத்திற்கு உதவிகளை வழங்கிவருவது வன்மையாகக் கண்டிக்கத்தக்கதாகும்.

தமிழர்கள் மீதான இலங்கை ராணுவத்தின் தாக்குதல்களை கண்டித் தும்,உடனடியாக போர் நிறுத்தத்தை மேற்கொள்ள இலங்கை அரசை வலி யுறுத்தியும்,இந்திய அரசு இலங்கை அரசிற்கு ராணுவ உதவிகளை வழங்கிவ ருவதை கைவிடக்கோரியும்,இனப்பிரச்சனைக்கு பேச்சுவார்த்தை மூலம் அமைதி வழியில் அரசியல் தீர்வுகாண வலியுறுத்தியும்,இதற்கு இந்தியா இலங் கை அரசை நிர்பந்தப்படுத்த வேண்டும் என வலியுறுத்தியும் சமாதானம் மற்றும் முன்னேற்றத்திற்கான இந்திய டாக்டர்கள் சங்கம் அனைத்திந்திய மாணவர் பெருமன்றத்துடன் இணைந்து கருத்தர்ங்கத்தை சென்னயில் நடத்துகிறது. வடபழனி குமரன்காலனி பிரதான சாலையில் உள்ள செங்குந்தர் மஹாலில் 27.9.08 மாலை 4.30 க்கு நடைபெறும் கருத்தரங்கிற்கு ஐ.டி.பி.டி யின் மாநி லத்தலைவர் டாக்டர் வி.ஜீவானந்தம் தலைமைதாங்குகிறார்.மாணவர் பெருமன்ற மாநில துணைச்செயலாளர் பி.ஸ்டாலின் மகேந்திர சிங் வரவேற்புரை நிகழ்த் துகிறார். ஐ.டி.பி.டி மாநிலப் பொதுச் செயலாளர் தீர்மானங்களை முன்மொ ழிகிறார்.இந்திய கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சியின் மாநில செய லாளர் தா.பாண்டியன், உலகத் தமிழர் பேரமைப்புத் தலைவர் பழ.நெடு மாறன்,விடுதலைச்சிறுத்தைகள் கட்சி பொதுச்செயலாளர் சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினர் சு.ரவிக்குமார்,தமிழ்த் தேசப் பொது உடைமை கட்சித் தலைவர் பெ.மணியரசன்,பெரியார் திராவிடர் கழகப் பொதுச் செயலாளர் விடுதலை ராசேந்திரன்,மார்க்சிஸ்ட்-லெனினிஸ்ட் கட்சி மாநிலக்குழு உறுப்பினர் ஏ.எஸ். குமார்,தமிழ் தேசிய விடுதலை இயக்கத் தலை வர் தியாகு,ஏ.ஐ.டி.யூ.சி சென்னை மாவட்ட கவுரவத்தலைவர் எஸ்.ஏழுமலை, இளைஞர் பெருமன்ற மாநில துணைச் செயலாளர் பி.எல்.பிரபாகரன்,மாணவர் பெருமன்ற மாநில செயலாளர் இரா.திருமலை,இந்திய மாதர் தேசிய சம்மேளன மாநில துணைச் செயலாளர் மஞ்சுளா உள்ளிட்டோர் கருத்துரை வழங்கு கின்றனர்.மாணவர் பெருமன்ற மாநில துணைச் செயலாளர் கே.ரவிக்குமார் நன்றி நவிழ்கிறார்.

IDPD's seminar for immediate ceasefire in Srilanka and political solution for the ethinic problem through peaceful negotiations.



Regarding this Dr.G.R.Ravindranath General secretary of Indian Doctors for Peace and Development,Tamilnadu Chapter has issued the following press statement.
Due to the ethinic problem prevaling in Srilanka for a very long time the Tamil pepople of Srilanka are suffering very much .They are not having basic human rights and political rights.Alot of Tamil people are being killed due to genocide .Ethnic discrimination and sinhala chauvinism has led to blood shed and innumerable losses to the common Tamil and Sinhala people.More than 3 lakh Tamil people are left as refugees in Vavunia in their own mother land without food,safe drinking water,shelter,clothes and medical aid and medicines.The sufferings of the Tamil people cannot be expressed in words.The Sinhala political parties are using Sinhala chauvinism for electoral and political gains.The Rajabakshe Government has unilaterally withdrawn from the ceasefire and has leashed out a war against the Tamil people.Instead of finding a peaceful political solution to the ethinic problem the Srilakan ssgovernment has engaged in a full fledged war against the Tamil.The Indian government is providing military,technical and other aids to the the Srilankan army .IDPD stongly condemns the Srilankan and Indian governments attitudes towards the ethnic problem in Srilanka .


To urge immediate ceasefire and end the armed conflict,to urge the Indian government to stop military aid to the srilankan army and to pressurise the srilankan government to resolve the ethnic issue politically by peaceful dialogue the IDPD Tamilnadu Chapter is organising a seminar along with All India Students' Federation Tamilnadu state cuoncil in Chennai on 27.9.08 at 4.30 PM at Sengundhar Mahall .IDPD state President Dr.V.Jeevanadham will preside over the seminar.AISF state Assistant secretary P.stalin Mahender Sing will welcome the gathering.IDPD state general secretary Dr.G.R.Ravindranath will propose the resolutions.CPI state secretary D.Pandian,International Tamil People Federation president Pazha.Nedumaran,Viduthali Chiruthaikal party General secretary S.Ravikumar MLA,Tamildhesa Pothu Udaimai party leader P.Maniyarasn,Periyar Dravidar Kazhakam General Secretary Viduthalai.Rajendran,CPI(ML) State council member A.S.Kumar,TamilDesiya Viduthalai Eyakka President Thiyagu,AITUC Chennai District Honourary President S.Ezhumalai,AIYF state Assistant secretary P.L.Prabhaharan,AISF state secretary R.Thirumalai,NFIW state Assistant Secretary G.Manjulla Will address the Seminar.AISF state Assistant secretary K.Ravikumar will deliver vote of thanks.
