Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Dr. Kalaignar has written a letter to the PM Dr. Manmohan Singh urging to implement Reservation for OBCs in Medical Education in All India Quota, and Central Medical Institutes. He has urged to implement reservation separately for each disciplines in All India Quota PG Seats. DASE Welcomes the CM’s Suggestions. DASE requests the CM to urge the PM to implement reservation for SCs/STs/OBCs in more than 3000 DNB PG Seats, in which reservations are not implemented for any category. In Tamil Nadu, Reservations are not implemented in PG Seats which are Seven or Below Seven in numbers. Due to that, Out of 46 total Disciplines 31 Disciplines go out of reservation. DASE requests the CM to take immediate steps to provide reservation on rotation basis even for a Single seat. Yours, (Dr. G.R. Ravindranath) General Secretary – DASE.
