• டாக்டர்களை இழிவாகப்பேசி தொடர்ந்து அவமானப்படுத்திவரும் தேசிய கிராமப்புற சுகாதார தமிழக இயக்குனர் செல்வி அபூர்வா அய்.ஏ.எஸ் மீது நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கவேண்டும்.,
• தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டம் முல்லக்காடு ஆரம்ப சுகாதார நிலைய மருத்துவர் டாக்டர் சந்தானமாரியை தாக்க முயன்ற நபர்கள் மீது நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கவேண்டும்.
• டாக்டர்களின் உயிர் மற்றும் உடமைகளை காத்திட ஆந்திர அரசைப் போல் சட்டம் கொண்டுவர வேண்டும்.
  
• ஒப்பந்த அடிப்படையில் பணியாற்றி காலமுறை ஊதியத்தின் கீழ் பணியாற்றி வரும் மருத்துவர்களுக்கு பணியில் சேர்ந்த நாள் முதல் பணிவரன்முறை வழங்கிடவேண்டும்.
  
• மருத்துவர்கள்-பயிற்சி மருத்துவர்கள்-பட்ட மேற்படிப்பு மாணவர்களின் ஊதியத்தை உயர்த்திட வேண்டும்.
  
• தற்காலிகமாக பணியாற்றிவரும் டாக்டர்களுக்கு டி.என்.பி.எஸ்.சி சிறப்புத் தேர்வு மூலம் பணிநிரந்தரம் வழங்கிடவேண்டும்.
• கட்டாய சேவைத் திட்டத்தை புகுத்தி டாக்டர்களின் வேலை வாய்ப்பை பறிக்கக் கூடாதென மத்திய அரசை வலியுறுத்தவேண்டும்.
• அகில இந்திய ஒதுக்கீட்டிற்கு முது நிலை மருத்துவக்கல்வி இடங்களை வழங்குவதை ரத்து செய்யவேண்டும்.
  
• தேசிய தேர்வு வாரியம் மூலம் பயிலும் முதுநிலை மருத்துவக் கல்வியை [டி.என்.பி] முறைப் படுத்த வேண்டும்.
  
• மருத்துவக் கல்வியும் -மருத்துவத்துறையும் வியாபார மயமாவதையும் , தனியார்மய மாவதையும் தடுத்திடவேண்டும்
• உள்ளிட்ட கோரிக்கைகளை வலியுறுத்தி சமூக சமத்துவத்திற்கான டாக்டர்கள் சங்கத்தின் சார்பில் 24.2.08 ஞாயிறு மாலை சென்னை மெமோரியல் ஹால் அருகில் ஆர்ப்பாட்டம் நடைபெற்றது.

• National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) Tamilnadu Director Selvi Apoorva IAS insults and humiliates doctors in various meetings.Doctors are very much irritated and depressed about her attitude . Tamilnadu Government should take appropriate action against her .
• Dr.Santhana Mari of Mullakadu PHC in Thoothukkudi district was threatened by some health inspectors .Tamilnadu government should take action against those culprits also.
• Tamilnadu government should provide protection to doctors working in PHCs ,and an act should be brought like Andhra Pradhesh Government to protect the life and properties of doctors.
• Services of Doctors appointed on contract basis and now working under time scale of pay should be regularized from the date of joining Salary and stipend of doctors and medical students should be increased .
• All India Quota System and DNB PG medical system should be abolished .Temporary doctors’ services should be regularized . The Controversial compulsory service which would abolish the job opportunities of doctors should not be implemented .
• Medical Education and Medical care should not be privatized and commercialized.Paying wards should not be opened in Government Hospitals.Dr.Muthu Lakshmi Reddy maternity fund should be distributed through revenue department.

• DASE state president Dr.D.Aram presided over the demonstration in the presence of Doctors P.Dorai ,R .Sundar , M .Arul Nambi,Sivakumaran.
• Dr.T.Mohan state treasurer delivered the inagural address .
• Dr.G.R.Ravindranath General Secretary delivered the concluding address .A large number of doctors across the state participated in the demonstration.

GIVE PROTECTION TO PHC DOCTORS . DOCTORS DEMONSTRATION

IN CHENNAI ON 24.2.08

Regarding this Dr.G.R.Ravindranath General Secretary DASE has issued the following press statement.

To urge the state and central governments to implement the above demands DASE is organizing a demonstration in Chennai nearer to Memorial Hall on 24.2.08 Sunday at 4.00 PM.

DASE state president Dr.D.Aram will precide over the demonstration in the presence of Doctors P.Dorai ,R .Sundar , M .Arul Nambi,Sivakumaran.

Dr.T.Mohan state treasurer will address the demonstration.

Collector orders enquiry into charges against health inspectors, village nurses Staff Reporter

Tuticorin: Collector R. Palaniyandi on Thursday ordered an enquiry into the charges raised by the Government doctors’ association against health inspectors and a few village health nurses at Mullakadu Primary Health Centre and vice-versa.

The year-long ‘proxy war’ going on between Government doctors and other employees in the Health Department, affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Government Employees Association, came to light a few days ago when the TNGEA put up a gigantic hoarding in front of the said PHC saying that they were going on an agitation against Medical Officer M. Sanatanamari’s atrocities.

In the meantime, the doctors’ association had levelled charges that the agitation was a consequence of the Medical Officer issuing a memo to the staff of PHC seeking an explanation for their poor performance with respect to the implementation of various Government-sponsored programmes.

The doctors pointed out that the association members had already lodged a complaint with the police against the Health Inspector of Mullakadu, M Terrance, who was involved in this incident also.

The complaint was lodged against Mr. Terrance for allegedly abusing the then Medical Officer of Mudivaithanenthal Primary Health Centre, E. Pradeep Prem Kumar, at a meeting conducted at Pudukottai to review the status of chikungunya outbreak.

Speaking to The Hindu, the Collector said that the Deputy Director, S. Uma, was asked to give a report within a week, after studying the facts.

“The Deputy Director has also been asked to appraise the status quo of the earlier complaint lodged by the doctors association against Mr. Terrance,” he added.
